A tender for the TV sport news portal. I worked with a strong focus on information architecture. I dealt with a very large web site and rich editorial pages.

Eurosport is a pan-European television sport network operated by French broadcaster TF1 Group. The network of channels is available in 59 countries, in 20 different languages providing viewers with European and international sporting events. (source: Wikipedia).

The project was a fascinating challenge a few weeks before Turin Winter Olympic Games (2006). In terms of strategy, in front of its press competitors, I notably defended a vision of a “multimedia sport encyclopedia” based on its natural strength: the video… but the management team rejected that concept because it was too similar to the TV and not the Web! YouTube had not demonstrated yet how much TV could find its way on the Web…

With restricting specifications, we explored solutions to put “the user into the stadium” as the client wished it.
