Chanel

I mainly worked on the user interface of the Chanel consumer web site (approximately the 1998-2005 version). I’ve been in charge to define improvements and possible evolutions of the UI. At that time, and as still many luxury brands today, Chanel’s teams were torn between glamour and efficiency, a pure brand building site and the will to embrace the potential of e-commerce.
I ultimately wrote the brand international web guidelines.

Peugeot Car Builder

After a deep analysis of the car builder of its international consumer web site, I identified severe problems. Then I defined a new user interface taking account of all technical constraints (especially an existing Broadvision implementation), existing image bank, legal aspects.

Peugeot Used cars

The redesign of the consumer web service “Occasions du Lion”, the Peugeot’s brand for its commercial platform of used cars. I worked as a UX designer and focused my attention on the search engine and the product sheet… and the link to offline dealers.

France Televisions

I designed the UI of two TV channels, France 2 and France 3. It was a challenging design for rich informational pages. For that project I made a short but interesting benchmark of TV channels web sites in 2002.

Total & La Prévention Routière

Total, the French oil company, use to promote actions in the road safety. It had a partnership with TV channel TF1 and an association of public utility La Prévention Routière to produce a short educational TV series and a web site called “Questions de conduite” (“A matter of driving”).
I managed the creative team and defined principles the user interface. Moreover, I had an important part in the digital strategy (see more).

Butagaz

Butagaz is a French company distributing butane and propane tank or bottle. For its consumer, corporate and e-commerce web site, I designed principles of the user interface and main storyboards. I then took a part in the writing of design guidelines.
